Tradition marries novelty
Alle Logge di Piazza is a historic establishment located in the central square of Montalcino, right under the Renaissance loggia.
Since 2001, the establishment has been managed by the Muggianu family who have done a great job in renovation, transforming the old bar into a modern wine bar with an open kitchen.
Inside, everything is curated with great attention, starting from the wine list, with over 200 labels of local origin, naturally, but also with Italian and French excellence, to which traditional dishes are paired, with a menu from a refined proposal.
The establishment is open every day from 12:30 to 21:30 with the kitchen always ready to satisfy the requests of customers.

Alle Logge di Piazza guests are enchanted by a location that′s hard to forget, overlooking the town′s square.
Customers can enjoy the fortune of dining outside, under the loggias dating back to the 1400s, sheltered by a beautiful exposed wood beam ceiling, while admiring the famous square, with its medieval layout. The interior of the establishment is not to be outdone, a meticulously maintained trattoria with an ancient fireplace, furnished in a contemporary restoration style.
What might surprise you even more is the typically Tuscan hospitality, with an atmosphere that is both informal and convivial, yet also attentive to service.

THE CUISINE
Traditional dishes and homemade pasta
In our restaurant the cuisine complements and enhances the wines, with traditional dishes and an excellent homemade pasta. The utmost attention is dedicated to selecting raw materials, chosen from local producers, particularly for cold cuts, cheeses, and meat.
The menu follows and changes with the seasons, but you can always find the famous "pinci", or traditional Montalcino pici, seasoned with various sauces and Maremmano veal tartare, freshly prepared in the open kitchen.
